This has nothing to do with my content but I just felt the need to share. Especially with the shit coming out with all these men harassing women. This is what I was wearing yesterday. I was on my way to the gym. No make up, messy hair in a braid. I stopped at Redbox at 7-11 to get the new Spider-Man movie (having a baby makes going to the movies impossible). And I was cat-called by a man. He and his buddy walked by me and then he stopped like 10 feet from me and started saying stuff. I wasn't paying attention because I just wanted to see if this Redbox was sold out like another one I had already been to was. When I finally turned to look at him he was still saying stuff and doing a weird crouching/hip thrust thing. I turned quickly back to the machine and literally said "what is happening?" I continued by transaction and looked back to where he was. He was gone. My car was parked right next to his and it hadn't left yet. I quickly got in my car and drove away. Now this is not the first or last time this will happen to me. It doesn't matter if you're 14, walking in White Suburbia in shorts or if you're a tired new mom on the way to the gym in sweats.
