Emile le Croque-Mort (Emile the corpse-biter)
A DENIZEN OF THE HALLOWED LANDS, EMILE IS A COMPLETE RECLUSE WHEN IT COMES TO HIS DAILY LIFE. HOWEVER, HIS WORK OFTEN BRINGS HIM OUT OF THE GRAVEYARD MAUSOLEUM HE CALLS HOME, COLLECTING THE BODIES OF THE DEAD TO EITHER REANIMATE AS SLAVES TO WORK FOR HIM, OR TO SIMPLY ADD TO HIS GROWING COLLECTION OF VARYING SPECIMENS. AS A NECROMANCER, EMILE WORKS WITH ALL KINDS OF CORPSES IN ALL STAGES OF DECOMPOSITION, HOWEVER HIS PREFERRED FORM FOR THEM TENDS TO BE EITHER FRESH OR SIMPLY JUST BONES. UNFORTUNATELY, MONSIEUR LE CROQUE-MORT'S WORK ENDS UP HAVING MANY OTHERS COME TO HIM TO EITHER BUY PARTS OR HIRE HIM AND HIS CREW FOR LESS THAN SAVORY JOBS. FORTUNATELY FOR HIM, THEY PAY QUITE A BIT, AND EVEN IF IT GETS HIM OUT OF THE GRAVE FOR A BIT, FUNDS MEAN HE CAN AQUIRE NEW SPELL COMPONENTS AND VARIOUS CHEMICALS TO HELP HIM PRESERVE SOME OF HIS FAVORITE SPECIMENS.
⸸ The bags under his eyes are pretty much a permanent feature ⸸ He's incredibly tall, lanky, and though he looks like he's alive, there's a good chance not all of him was originally 'him' ⸸ Likely someone who has to deal with Fritz Frankenstein on occasion. He doesn't dislike them, but... well. He doesn't dislike them. ⸸ 'croque-mort' translates to something like "corpse-biter" (Emile the Corpse-biter) ⸸ Why yes, he does in fact eat flesh. Thanks for asking. ⸸ He also has a colony of flesh-eating beetles that he adores and cares for, much like someone who takes care of an ant farm or fish.

Her lore is that she sneaks over to the human world through liminal spaces because she wants to go eat normal potato chips and fountain drinks at a gas station, but people see her walking through the woods and that’s how mothman myths came to be. She also likes to bother Fritz (this ends poorly for her)
