Hellbaby taking interest in the old Lobster Johnson comics HB's had since he was a kid. They have a really sweet daddy-daughter bonding thing!

"Whatcha got there sweetheart?"

He had to stifled a laugh at the whiplash reaction painting her adorable face before a toothy smile took over. She pulls herself up from the floor with a paper book in hand and ran over to her father. She plops the thin book in his left hand with utter glee.

"Oh! Takin' interest with Ol' Lobster Johnson, ey?" He mused

Her braids bounced about as she nodded her head, all it took was one look at her and hellboy could see his younger self. Being that bright eyed lad once with the comics he so dearly loved.

"Alright, you want daddy to read to you?"

Local baby is confused by her father’s behavior

Hellboy always gives his s/o and their baby (was it established it was a girl? 😂) the biggest hugs and smothers the baby with kisses and gives his s/o one biiiig kiss before he goes on any mission. Same when his s/o goes on a mission and it’s his turn to stay home with the babe.

SCREECHES INCOHERENTLY YYEESS THIS WHAT I FEED OFF OFbut yes the baby was established as a girl tho it’s more of my picking. It can be a girl or a boy, I don’t mind.

Also: What do you think his baby would look like? More human? Natural skintones or more red? A tail? Baby horns?

Tbh I think since he was born as a half demon since his mother was human. I feel like his kid would have his pointy ears and horns but they would be dark, tiny and blunt. Now the skin tone I don’t think his red skin tone would transfer into the kid unless it can happen. Though again since he happens to be half demon, his human half can make the baby probably have lighter/darker red skin tone or normal skin tone.

Basically what I’m saying is that the baby would be half and half from both him and the mom/dad. The baby will have his horns and pointy ears, possibly skin tone while the other half would be the mom/dad eyes, hair, and body.
