Look who decided to crawl out of his damn lair. The robot was definitely looking for something, or someone.
He does acknowledge the Prototype, but he was a little bit busy. He planned to stay out for an hour before heading back to his lair. He’s only slightly intimidated by the Prototype, but doesn’t show it.
“Have you seen a plush cat around? A small, mute one.”
@doctor-sawyer / @vampiric-bite (I hope it works???)
The Prototype had just turned a corner, searching for parts of all things when the Dr. Sawyer of all people…well…whatever he was now…had just strolled up to him out of the blue. It was often Harley Sawyer left his cramped room of computers and gadgets to just venture, so the Prototype himself thought this was quite strange just seeing him here.
The massive bulky metal spider jester just stopped and idled there, watching the much tinier robotic doctor with his one good eye, examining the doctor’s movements. He seemed to have mixed attention, and it would become apparent as to why that was when he spoke.
The question confused him, but he had indeed seen the mute little Catnap around before, and despite the rough beginning, he’d actually taken a liking to the cat that he came to know as Rei. Currently though, Rei was elsewhere, and even though the Prototype allowed him to hang around him, that cat did like to venture. The Prototype stays quiet for a solid while, his metal spider legs idling as they took several steps to position themselves and check themselves. Yes he knew he was actually doing this, but it had been so long that he had these that this had became second nature to him.
Even though he took a while to answer, he clearly lied, because of course he wasn’t about to tell the doctor of all people where Rei was, he favored Rei now, and he highly despised the doctor. So to add to his lie, and to just scare the pants…he didn’t have pants…off the man, his head’s mask twists, and he leans forward right into the doctor’s screen-like face, forcefully making his body creak and groan and hiss and jitter to scare him. He quite enjoyed it, intimidating the doctor, and he did so each time he saw him.
The lie was as follows, “NO…I haven’t SEEN one roaming AROUND…WHY?” The why was forcefully demonic and dark, and he thrusts his head slightly forward and harshly twists his mask face to add to the why. He savored the reactions, best form of payback in his opinion.
