Me, already three lectures behind even though we’ve only been back in school for three days.
Oh no, not again.
Sometimes I do things that are not knitting.
Well I bought this paint. A nice soft sage-y green but when Wolf saw it, he said it was a little too toward the tan color and didn’t like it. I had a half gallon that I’d used to paint a wall in Josiah’s room at the rental house - hurt-your-teeth lime green. So I got a bucket and mixed the lime green with the too-tan-sage green and I said, whatever color this turns out is going on the wall.
The kitchen has dark green countertops, so I painted the kitchen.
Pickle Juice Green.
The color grew on me, so I painted the kids’ bathroom. Then I found a shower curtain at Target that had blue (B’s towels are blue) and wouldja know, Pickle Juice Green (Josiah’s towels are green) in it.
Then I found a big wooden whale on sale at Hobby Lobby. And a fish.
As a true die-hard complete-with-the-epic-tattoo-fan of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, I painted “Hello Ground” on the whale.
Then Wolf said I needed the falling Bowl of Petunias. So today I painted the Bowl of Petunias, and in Old-West tattoo font, it says, “Oh No Not Again.”
Might move the whale and petunias farther down the wall, because they’re a little high up. But thus concludes our Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy lesson in home decor.
Happy Towel Day, froods.
Hello and welcome to my brain 🧠 I haven’t felt a thing in days
