galentine’s day baking class.
Wednesday night I attended a Galentine’s Day baking class hosted by Sarah of HelloWellness & Monique of Ambitious Kitchen!
The event was held at Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street in Boston;
Part classroom, part playground, and all kitchen, Christopher Kimball's Milk Street Cooking School is where you'll learn to change the way you cook.
Kimball founded Cook’s Magazine in 1980 and served as publisher and editorial director through 1989. In 1993, he re-launched Cook's Magazine as Cook's Illustrated (which my mom used to subscribe to) and went on to found America's Test Kitchen.
The Cooking School at 177 Milk Street in Boston offers weeknight classes, weekend workshops, multi-day intensive courses, and master classes with guest experts.
It was a very cool location to spend an evening baking cookies, trying samples, and getting to know other ladies who love HelloWellness. The kitchen classroom featured state-of-the-art work stations, as well as studio lighting for the Milk Street Television show!
We made simple almond flour sugar cookies, cut into Valentine’s Day shapes, and topped them with delicious Pamela’s Products frosting. Everyone enjoyed Spindrift sparkling water and Yasso frozen Greek yogurt bars. And, Monique talked about founding Ambitious Kitchen and told us that she’s currently working on a cookbook.
By far, my favorite HelloWellness event!
