Interest check for a fic I’m plotting out rn
Basic premise is that it’s Ezio x Reader, in which Reader is a modern day Assassin. The Assassins are desperate for mentors and experienced fighters now more than ever, and reverse engineer a Shroud of Eden that can resurrect the dead, regardless of how long they’ve been dead for. After some debate, Ezio is chosen as the first one to bring back, and they locate his remains, wrap them in the Shroud, and wait. After a few days, he’s alive again and in his prime age (30-something, same age he is towards the end of 2).
Naturally he’s a fish out of water in the modern day, so to acclimate him to being alive in this day and age, he’s assigned a handler- the Reader.
The story will be mostly lighthearted, but occasionally dive into more serious topics such as Ezio resenting the modern assassins for not letting the dead rest, him missing his friends and family from his own time, and his frustration with being the only one so far to be given this ‘privilege’. Of course, there will be plenty of flirtation and charm on his end and perhaps a bit of smut too!
I just need to figure out if people are interested and settle on a title. Please make your interest known! I’m so excited to write this cringe ass fic and all I need is confirmation that people will read it
