i’m running out of hope and time.

      Would he dare to say that he could give her both? That he and her mother could sweep her away from it all and protect her from the issue? He would be trapping her, his little sunflower, in a cage for all of time...to be the apple of his eye forever. She doesn’t want it, and despite himself he admits, understandably so. 

      It is such a curse to be adored. Was it not he that fled from his father, breaking away to do greater things for that very reason? The king sees himself in her. She’s gasping for breath, for freedom...and he is smothering her. That light that she emits cannot be contained or controlled. 

Lucifer longs for the days that she sat in his thrown, a little thing, nearly too small to reach but too determined to give up. Lilith practically scolded him for helping her, lifting her up into the sky and placing her exactly where she wanted....and now look where it’s brought them. His wife has foresight that he does not. What a ridiculous father he is. 

“Then, come home, Charlie. Come home and forget this nonsense.”

Like his own father, he doesn’t speak what he means.

His eyes lose some intensity as he looks in the direction of their vacation home. The now, renamed ‘Happy Hotel’. He couldn’t agree more with the radio demon...this place is anything but. “You’re living with... these sinners.” Lucifer points, catching what looks like a spider peeking out the window before being yanked back inside.

Her nerves buzz -- the question ringing in her mind as her eyes are moving anywhere BUT in front of Charlie. She’d hate to ask -- was it selfish sounding of her? She didn’t want to be any sort of issue, but ...

“Hey, Chaaarlie...?” Molly would begin to ask in a small drawl. Her arms held behind her back as she rocks slightly on her feet. Like a child about to ask their parent something they were sure the answer would be no to.

“...Is there, aauuuh... Any way I can get a liiiittle bit bigga’ of a room? I, Uh...” Her arms begin to wrap around her torso -- defensive. “... Kinda. Moved outta my fatha’s place, so.. I got more than I can handle on me in tha’ room I got at tha’ moment...”

☀ What’s the best thing about roleplaying?

meeting people! roleplaying helped me a lot growing as a writer and it still helps me improve, but i’m more thankful for the amount of people i got to meet and the good friends i’ve made throughout the years spent in the rpc. i still keep in touch regularly, if not daily, with friends i met years ago and that keep being around, and i’m still amazed by how deep and genuine friendships can be even when they are born and develop mostly on the web. i’m a big mushy guy, but i really love all the friends i’ve made here and i’m very happy that our common hobby gave us a chance to know each other

“Charlie, Charlie, Chaaa~aaarlie~!” Velvet would sing song the moment she pin pointed and invaded the princess’s poor personal little bubble. Small bounce to her steps as the tiniest squeaks would come from her person with each movement.

“I’ve been meanin’ ta’ talk with you, princess!” she’d go on and confess, pausing to stand in front of the taller royal. “I wanted ta’ do a lil’ blog piece on ya’ digs! A lil’ tour, a lil’ loooooksie... I wanna write AAA~AAALL about it~! I bet it looks SOOO~OOO pretty inside! If by how you dress yourself is anythin’ ta’ guess!”

She held an internal snort.
