“Woah...”  Mac said to himself.  “Dis does not look like Hyrule...”

Mac had entered the Smash Nexus for a match with Link on the Bridge of Eldin for a spot in the tournament ladder, when it seemed like there was an odd hiccup in the transport.  This land he found himself in seemed familiar, yet very unfamiliar at the same time.

It was still something of a medieval place like Hyrule and the kingdoms that the Heroes of the Emblem were from, but nothing he had really seen before.

How could the Nexus transport him to a place unrelated to the list of worlds the arenas took place in?

A lot of the people here gave off a strange vibe to the underdog.  Lots of them carried weapons on them, and had some sort of strange power about them.  Mac couldn’t explain it, but it was enough to send a chill down his spine.

He had to figure out what was going on, and where he was.  Slinging his gloves over his shoulder, he walked to wherever his conscious guided him.  Hopefully he wouldn’t find any trouble in this strange world of swords...

Why be a hero when you can take whatever you want by force? I never could understand you hero-types.

cause being  hero is fun dude!! beating up bad guys and protecting princesses!! :D

I never could understand hero types like you. You could have everything you've ever wanted if you just took it by force.
