My First Post & My Intro
Welcome to my blog! I created this blog because saw very few resources for children of divorce. I’m a twenty-year-old from California and this is my story:
I was born in 1997 and my parents got divorced in 2006. My parents were granted joint legal and physical custody but they still went to court every few months for most of my childhood. I grew up getting grilled for information by my parents, missing school for appointments with court mediators, watching my parents get served, strategizing with my younger brother, and feeling the tension of timeshare debates conducted over email. When I was growing up there were very limited resources for children of divorce so I had to do my own research. If you have any questions or need advice, please send me an ask!
