RIP little man 😢 My heart is breaking and I did all I could. But it was too late. He went downhill fast after the vet visit. He passed in my arms and I take comfort that he knew he was loved... even if just for a moment in his little life. We buried him with love. And I hope whoever dumped these helpless souls in the jungle rots in hell. I want to thank everyone for all the love and messages you've sent to me and my little man... yesterday was a really, really bad day for all of us involved in puppy rescues here in Tulum and Playa. We lost two other little souls and my heart feels so heavy right now. The feeling that I didn’t ‘do enough’ is a strong one… and I’ve been sitting in front of my computer crying, broken, heavy feeling and lost after reading about the two other pups we lost due to assholes in the world who don’t care. The only comfort for me in this moment is that my little man did not suffer alone... in the jungle... with no one to love and try to care for him. It's little comfort... but it will have to do for now. So the fight continues. And I have to have hope that we are making change because otherwise I will give up. To watch something so small and helpless take it's last breaths in your arms is something I hope you never experience. And if you have, my heart goes out to you... Thank you to everyone who's sent him love. They are all in peace now and taking care of each other. It's not much, but it's something to keep the hope alive.
