Crossing All The Lines, a post-Doom Coalition fic (River/Helen)
Pairings: River Song/Helen Sinclair, Helen Sinclair/Liv Chenka, The Doctor/River Song (mentioned)
The 1960's did not prepare Helen Sinclair, in any way, for the complicated business of having developed certain feelings for her friend's future wife.
River Song, in turn, is not remotely certain about what to do when she realises that she's smitten for only the second time in her whole life. Which is ridiculous, at her age, frankly, and yet, here she is getting butterflies over one of her husband's old companions, of all the absurd things.
Luckily, these things have a way of working themselves out.
(Late contribution to River Song Appreciation Day! Picks up right after the end of Doom Coalition. Features: River having a bad case of Soft Gay Feelings and the Eleven getting punched in the face.)
