my mom took this absolutely gorgeous picture of what i believe is a hummingbird hawkmoth. you can even see the pollen on its little tongue!

I was requested to paint a small wooden box by a friend. It's not overly complicated, but I think it turned out alright.

Remembered this site exists again so heres one of the shots I'm proudest of from last year! Hemaris thysbe nectaring on Cirsium discolor, a native, biennial thistle thats much more mild mannered than the aggressively spreading invasive taxa, its also a favorite of bumblebees and goldfinches everywhere
