This came to me while I was watching Monster's Inc. and Sulley said "Did you lose weight? Or a limb?"

I can imagine that in a situation like this, joking about it would be Leo's way of trying to calm down both himself and those around him.

I can also imagine that if Donnie wasn't there or had no way of knowing what happened at the exact moment, he would be absolutely floored to see that not only has his brother lost an arm......but he's making jokes about it If only he had heard even half of the ones Mikey had to hear on the way back

Also I could be totally wrong on that 7 lbs (3.1 kg) thing that was a big guesstimate

the fact that i have reaaaaally bad hematophobia yet i dissected (or well, i mostly just watched my friend dissecting) a sheep heart and lungs and the fact that i have always loved true crime stories doesn't make ANY. FUCKING. SENSE.

1. Do you have any “yeah I’m good at it but I hate it” kind of skills?

how much i like something is usually dictated by how good i feel like i am at it lol

i guess i don’t particularly love handwashing dishes? i’ve gotten very good at it over the years but my hands bruise and bleed v easily if i’m washing like four people’s worth of dishes for every meal and it’s a little inconvenient if your main hobby is piano haha

3. You’re allowed to know everything about one highly specific thing/topic. What would you choose?

the software that i use for music and art is at least a decade old and i would v much like to know how to get up-to-date versions haha

6. Do you tend to say what you’re thinking? What would people think of you if you did the opposite?

i only say things in conversation if i have a strong conviction about them and if i think of them quick enough. so in that sense, i guess i generally say what i genuinely think and feel? i used to be the opposite way where i would be v sarcastic and while constant deadpan snark was probably funny at the time, looking back that was all very unpleasant and i was, like, borderline irony poisoned. then i realized sincerity is good, actually, and so is laughing at things that are funny? lol

14. Do you have any “weirdly strong” opinions about things don’t really matter?

“bad guy” by billie eilish is a direct descendant of the 12-bar blues foundational style of music. i could give a full lecture on this song too honestly, but this is probably my strongest, most immediately confusing, and ultimately least consequential opinion about it

Can someone else who has hematophobia help me? I just had a bad bloody nose n it didn’t even affect me. I know I have hematophobia because I have full on passed out at the mere thought of someone injuring themselves on a glass bowl before. But for some reason this nose bleed didn’t affect me.
