HEMP CON - 4/20 San Jose, CA
The High Class Providers Team flew up to San Jose for HEMP CON over the 4/20 weekend. This was a 3 day event, located at the San Jose Convention Center, showcasing close to 100 cannabis culture related vendors offering a wide variety of goods and services, along with some amazing entertainment.
We arrived a few hours before 4:20 on the second day of the event, as we entered we passed a long line of probably 50 people waiting to speak with a Doctor hoping that their ailments would allow them to obtain a Medical Marijuana Recommendation. Having a recommendation allowed you access to the Prop 215 area, this section featured about 40 different collectives providing their top shelf Flowers, Concentrates, Clones, Seeds, and Edibles.
Hemp Con went the extra mile and brought in some “High Class “talent, Wu-Tang Clan member Cappadonna and American Dubstep Pioneer, 12th Planet. The HCP Team had the honor of exploring the convention with these two. It was great to see artists of their caliber making themselves accessible to their fans, snapping pictures and snapping bowls, signing autographs and asking the collectives about the medicine.
By the time the evening came around we were smoked out, ready for some munchies, and sleep. The next morning we dragged ourselves out of bed to catch an early flight back to LA, still a little fuzzy from the 4/20 celebrations. We had a great time in San Jose and can’t wait for the party in our own home town, at The Los Angeles Convention Center this month, May 24th-26th.
