Ah a statue for George would’ve been great, I wonder why Olivia wouldn’t want it attracting Beatles fans?
Well, I imagine for the same reason George wouldn’t have wanted one (and maybe because George wouldn’t have wanted one) - because she doesn’t want a ton of Beatles fans turning up on her doorstep. I imagine they come anyway. (If I was passing, I would go and have a look at Friar Park - or the gates anyway) - but a statue would probably bring more people.
I don’t think George was a very statue kind of person. A garden, something more naturally beautiful, is much more suited to him, I think.
