Eddie Chambers
Chambers recently made the decision to move to the UK and become part of Team Fury. He was in a bad place, out of shape and considering hanging up the gloves when Peter Fury (Tyson Fury's uncle and trainer) decided he would take him under his wing.
Since Eddie has arrived in the UK he has had 3 contests against limited opposition and has done what is expected of him. Peter Fury has helped Chambers develop more muscle mass and adapted his previously lazy style of fighting to enable him to be able to throw more punches.
Eddie is out again on a Hennessy Sports bill this November 8th.
Chambers appears to have all the skills to enable him to operate at the highest level but whether he is able to get the fights he needs under Mick Hennessy has yet to be proven
In a recent interview with IFLTV's Kugan Cassius (link attached via picture) , when asked whether he could beat British gold medallist Anthony Joshua, Eddie replied saying ''I'LL KICK ANTHONY JOSHUA'S BUTT IF THEY WANT ME TO!'. However it is unlikely that the Matchroom star would be willing to fight Eddie Chambers at this stage of his career. Anthony Joshua's is still a novice having only had 9 fights, albeit all won by KO.
It remains to be seen whether American heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers has what it takes to make it to the top.
