This piece was created to promote Tyler, the Creator’s new song “911 / Mr. Lonely.” It was created in June of 2017.
This piece was created in May of 2017. It was created to promote Chance the Rapper’s “Be Encouraged” Tour.
This piece was created to promote Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It was created in May of 2017. It features the characters Ego, Star-Lord, and Baby Groot.
This piece is called “Kanye in Wyoming”. It is based off of the reports that Kanye West was making new music while isolated on a mountain in Wyoming. This piece was created in May of 2017.

Taika Waititi - Henry Gottschlich - Adobe Illustrator - 31 March 2017
This piece is an 8 ½ by 11-inch portrait piece of director Taika Waititi. His face is divided into four different parts for his four different films that he has done. The piece has an aqua green background, while his name is in different shades of blue. His face is various shades of tan and black. There are four objects in the picture. In the top left there is Thor’s hammer. I included this because this director’s next film will be a Thor movie. The army helmet in the top center is from his film ‘Boy’. The bloody tooth on the center left is from his vampire film ‘What We Do In The Shadows’. Center right is a hog or boars snout and tusks from his film ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople’. I binge watched all of this directors films and I found them to be both hilarious and extremely well done. I was inspired by his quirkiness and decided to create a piece that showed some love to him. I think he is pretty obscure so the average viewer won’t have any idea what this piece is about. A viewer also may think that there are only two sides because of how well it meshes. This piece went really well considering it’s the first type of art I’ve created in this style. I think that if I could redo this piece I would make the four parts of his face a lot more distinguishable.

Art Book - Henry Gottschlich - Photography, Illustration, Music, Photoshop, and Print (Book Format) - January 22nd 2017
This piece is 40+ pages of photographs, illustrations, and music links all created by yours truly. This idea came to me when I received Frank Ocean’s magazine and when I also saw CCAD produce something similar. I decided to put some of my favorite pieces in this book as a trial run. It turned out better than I expected, and I’m very proud of it. It is composed of some Photoshop Illustrations, a Soundcloud link to music I have helped create, photographs from San Fransisco and other beautiful places, and also some of my friends.
This piece follows a long break from art, due to what I call an artistic block (similar to writers block). I’m back in action now though and hope to create more fun and aesthetic pieces.
