So i’m looking to buy a book on Amazon (most convenient for me) about herbs and plants and what uses they have and how to use them in witchcraft/spells/every day life

Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Skin Repairing Cream

I, for one, have really bad scaring on my face, arms, back. Pretty much everywhere, if I’m honest. This cream can be used for skin repair, to help scars fade, and also prevents any redness. The herbs used help to heal the skin, while the essential oils used are anti-inflammatory. I suppose you can use other herbs or essential oils with similar uses, but these are what I used for mine. 

So, under a read more because its LONG AS FUCK. 

You Will Need:

 Herbs:

v Comfrey Leaves

v Rosemary Leaves

v St John’s Wort flowers (I used the powder)

v Gotu Kola Leaves (the stems are A-OK)

v Calendula flowers

v Vanuatu Sandlewood essential oil

v Roman Chamomile (3%) essential oil

 The Apparatus 

v Strainer

v Pot

v Jars

v Bowl or large measuring jug

 The Base

v Shea Nut Butter

v Olive Oil (I used dandelion flower infused olive oil, as well as calendula infused coconut oil)

v Honey (optional)

v Beeswax 

To start with, gather your herbs. Pick as much as you need - the more herbs, the more oil, the more jars etc. Make sure to ask and thank the plant though! They are giving you a piece of their limbs. 

Place your herbs in your saucepan over a low heat (if it gets too hot, it will froth. This is ok, just turn the heat down) and submerge them in oil. Keep stirring until the oil changes colour - generally to a dark gold. The herbs will look wilted - that’s ok, we only wanted the goodness from them. 

Don't worry if it froths - I honestly have no idea why mine did. 

All the juicy goodness is now in the oil!

Get your strainer and place it over the bowl or measuring jug. Now, grab your pot and 

pour the contents into the bowl, making sure not to lose anything. At this point you’re going to want to grab your shea butter, and put a LOT into your mix. You can also put a tablespoon of honey in at this point. 

You’ll also want to grab your essential oils. Since I made a LOT of this stuff, I used both bottles (they were only 5mL bottles, however). Now stir, stir, stir away until all the shea butter is melted into the mix. At this point I should have mixed the beeswax in, but it was last minute since I forgot about it, so yeah. Mix in some grated beeswax (I have no idea how mucch I'm sorry this is a mess xD it was very experimental)

Grab your jars (you might want to have a few handy if you’ve made a large mixture). I used a measuring jug so it would be easier to pour, but if you have a funnel you can use that as well. Pour it all in and voila! Finished! 

This stuff goes hard at room temperature, but you can whack it in the fridge if you like. The beeswax caused it go quite hard, but I found that if you stab it with a knife or a fork a few times and then mix it up it goes creamy. 

I don't have a photo of the final product, sadly, but it works really well.
