Witch/Herbalist Advice Requested
So, I remember seeing a long time ago a recipe for a balm or salve that was used for pain relief, but I can't remember the ingredients.
The only things I can remember is that it was good for arthritis/general aches and pains and that, I think, a couple of the ingredients were Beeswax and maybe cinnamon???
I haven't seen the recipe in years and I can't remember where, but I was hoping to give it a try, considering my Grandma uses pain medication and the good ol' bureaucrats are deciding to basically shut down pain pill production for who knows how long.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Finish comparison for my larger pure silver Nettle (Urtica dioica) leaf. Plus real birbnoise. These take a long time to do, but I'm grateful every time I get to make one, for many reasons. One being that I get to be up close and personal with the intricacies of the leaf margins. Nerd alert!

18th October 1616, birth of the English botanist, herbalist, physician, and astrologer Nicholas Culpeper. Inspired by the work of medical reformers such as Paracelsus (whose birthday was last week), Culpepper published his books of medical and pharmaceutical knowledge in English. By publishing in English, Culpepper’s works could be read by ordinary folk healers who could not read Latin. His most known work was ‘The English Physician’ published in 1653, it is known today as Culpeper’s Herbal. His questioning of traditional methods and knowledge, pairing herbs and planetary influences to counter illnesses and disease; led him to be accused of Witchcraft in 1642. One of his ancestors was Thomas Culpeper, the secret lover of Queen Catherine Howard, fifth wife of Henry VIII who was sentenced to death by her husband, and beheaded on the 13 February 1542.
