She looks to her side to see a sleeping Honey. For a moment she's lost in thought, observing the few blonde strands of hair strewn over her face, a couple of them stuck on her bottom lip which GoGo gently removes with a fond smile; the way her nose turns up just slightly at the tip; the way her long lashes reflect like golden threads from the morning light coming in from the window.
She's too lost in thought of how she ever got lucky to find someone like her. A best friend and a lover all wrapped up into one. Someone that understood her nature without trying to change her, yet made her want to change for the better on her own accord. Someone that made her want to be better not because she should, but because she wanted to. And Aiko was that person.
GoGo thinks back to all the times she attempted to ignore her growing feelings for the girl. All futile in the end, if a bit hilarious for outsiders to observe. Horrible hints, pretending to not notice every single detail in her from the way she talked to the way she moved, the smell of her perfume whenever she walked into a room.
When she walked into a room she always had a presence. She made herself known and was proud of it. A girly look masked an amount of inner strength that not even GoGo herself could match no matter how much she tried. It truly awed her how someone so beautiful and caring could be so strong and always there when needed.
But these thoughts are always replaced by the numbing fear that accompanies it. Are you going to walk out one of these days? The thought caused pain. Are you going to break my heart? Despite how much she wanted to pretend as if such thoughts didn't even cross her mind, she couldn't. Please, don't leave me. But the words couldn't come out. Sounding as desperate as she felt couldn't possibly be good. I can't lose you too. But the words are only echoing in her mind. Stay.
One eye opens to look back at her and quickly they turn worried. Apparently she was doing a much worse job at hiding her thoughts than she'd assumed. "Are you okay?" And all Leiko could offer was a nod. "Yeah, I'm fine. Want some breakfast?"
