Update and Apologies

I know I promised you all previews, but the last couple of days haven’t gone exactly how I wanted them too. I’m fighting to keep from getting a head cold from going around my house, I’m extremely frustrated with some personal stuff going on right now and I know I haven’t been getting enough sleep or quality sleep at that. It’s lead to all of my energy going to both my jobs and trying to clean up the mess of all the crap I brought home when I cleaned out my office last week which has created a bigger mess. It’s lead to little to no time to write and when I’ve managed to sit down to try to write, nothing is coming to me easily or smoothly. That being said, I’m going to take a couple of days to not stress about writing and get this stuff taken care of because I think that’s part of my problem. So what does this mean?

I plan on having the update to Lessons for you guys this upcoming Sunday. The chapter is about halfway done, It’s a little in bits and pieces as I haven’t written it linearly, so that’s why I don’t have a preview for that one, but once I piece everything together it should be great.

As for One Moonlit Night...thank you so much for your encouragement. That chapter is probably about 1/3rd of the way done. The first part got written and then I hit a road block. I’m not as concerned with this as I said I wouldn’t update this one as frequently, but I still want to get something out as I’ve got the ball rolling. Here’s to Us has been on the back burner for months now and I’m sorry about that. I went through a writing slump with that, though I’m determined to finish. The next chapter is started and is starting to shape up, so I promise soon. I’m going to hold myself to getting that updated in the next week or so, but the other stories take some priority. Thank you all for being patient with this one. I promise I will keep you all updated and if you have any questions feel free to ask. I really do feel bad it’s taking me longer, but I just need to get out of this funk so I can deliver something good. I appreciate your patience and look out for goodies in the coming week.

Also wanted to do a little update for Here’s To Us. It is not a dead fic. I’m so sorry it’s been far too long since I updated. It’s been a lot of things...life, lack of inspiration, this chapter kicking my butt, etc...I am probably about 1/3rd of the way done the next chapter. I’m hoping to have it out sometime this next week, but my beta for this story is also in the hospital and I don’t know when he’s gonna be released. 

Worse case, I will do my own quick edit and post it as is, so you don’t have to wait and let him beta when he gets out, but please do not give up on me. I’d like to finish it before the one year posting anniversary which seems like a while off as it’s August, but I do have a goal of posting a chapter of my new story weekly and despite my notes for this story, it’s not coming together in a way I like. I’m hoping it’s just this chapter and the rest will roll smoothly, but I can’t promise that.

Don’t give up on me and I will keep pushing myself to finish! Thank you for all your patience and for reading.

Here’s To Us - Chapter 6 Update 2

Hey everyone, Sad to say that it’s not done yet. I had almost 9000 words written and decided I couldn’t use most of it. The story didn’t flow like I wanted to and it just wasn’t good. I’ve started back over from scratch and it’s much better. I really want to give you a chapter that I’m proud of. Thank you all for your support for me an the story. I hope you’ll continue to be patient and I will have it for you soon!

I don’t have a lot of presence as far as posting goes, but I am on tumblr a lot. Feel free to ask me stuff and comment on here. I will see and answer when I can.

Here’s To Us Chapter 6 - Update

Well, I had hoped to actually have chapter 6 out by the time the weekend was over, but the chapter isn’t done yet. I’ve had an unusually strange week and didn’t have as much time for writing as I might have liked. I’m trying to work on it a bit tonight, but I still have to fix a flow problem (I’ve fixed it in my head, I just have to fix it in the story) and I’ve still got two major scenes to write.

The chapter took a little twist than what I originally intended too, which has thrown me a bit, but I’ve figured out how to make it work with my original intentions. Just give me a bit more time and I will have a new chapter out soon! Thank you!

I see I’ve got a few new followers! Thank you for following me and welcome to my little den of madness.

I’m coming off the high of posting the first half of my story Here’s to Us yesterday and I’ve been working on it a little bit more tonight. I mentioned that I might post a preview of the next chapter up here and that’s exactly what I’m going to do tonight. Give me about 15 minutes to give it a look over (I write when I’m really tired sometimes and so some of my writing is really raw. You have been warned in case I miss something.)

The daughter and son of Victor and Yuri. The girl’s name is Katerina (Katja) Nikiforova and the boy is Alexander (Shura) Nikiforov. They don’t have Yuri’s name for reasons (you have to read to find out). Maya is their poodle companion. Makkachin is too old in cannon and although I love her and didn’t want to do it, it made sense for her to have passed away. I like to think of Maya as a reincarnated Makka anyway and although they haven’t had as much time in the story yet, I hope you will all fall in love with this trio as much as I have.

I love the art style. It’s super cute and reminds me a bit of the chibi recap style in the episodes. Thank you so much again KC for giving me some amazing art for this story and for giving me a last minute Maya. This is amazing!
