Here I Sit

Well, here I sit typing this up and realizing how much truly has changed in the past year.  I made it through my first year of college, met some truly amazing people and was able to set myself on a path that I want to go down myself.  Not one someone else wants to lay down in front of me.  

Here I sit typing this coming off of a 12 hour workday from two jobs (the beginning of many days like this) and deciding to spend another 4 hours or so editing videos for my up and coming Youtube channel that I hope something happens with.

Here I sit typing this texting some of the most amazing people I've ever met, people I'm glad to call my friends.  These are the kind of people who'll change the world and I don't doubt for a second that they won't.

Here I sit realizing that some things will never leave you alone and must be dealt with one way or another.  My depression will never leave me, that I know for a fact.  It just depends on how I want to deal with it.  Do I let it drag me to the depths of sorrow and misery that it wants to? No, I'll yank it on its chain, yell at its face and scream and shout at it until I'm angrier than I've ever been.  Then I'll take that anger and do something purposeful with it, constructive, positive.

Here I sit never truly alone, never truly lost.  My path is clear and I won't let anything stop me until I reach the end of it.  Then, I'll pave my own way, and shape a new path for others to follow.  A path that through hard work, and sweat and tears can one follow.
