Habits - I've spent most of my life breaking bad habits (biting my nails, obsessively counting calories, negative self-talk). In fact, it wasn't until I started following @kellythornegore's wellness journey in 2017 that I really ever thought about the importance of intentionally developing good habits. . And then I suffered an injury to my pelvic floor and became pregnant shortly afterward, leading to nearly a year of bed rest followed by a postpartum hemorrhage that required another several months of recovery. . It was while I was trying to get back on track after almost two years of being unable to do even basic tasks (like showering regularly & cooking full meals) that the need for good habits really hit me hard. Life without consistency sucks! . I am slowly incorporating habit training into our homeschool, but it had to start with me. So my first priority every day is to get my "morning time" in. It's a chance for me to get myself in the right frame of mind for a successful day. I pray, read my Bible, listen to worship music, check my calendar, write out my to-do list, and (of course) drink coffee and take the world's most amazing magic gut-health pill. .
