Your heritage series was absolutely beautiful. I’m 1/4 Filipino and I am so far removed from that aspect of my identity that I feel like I can’t claim it, but I would love to learn more about it. I can’t fully imagine your story but it’s definitely inspiring so thank you for your comics
I'd pretty much abandoned this blog back in 2017 or so, and so bringing it back to life and seeing all these lovely messages from folks who read Home & Home and my other heritage comics has meant a lot to me.
Sorry for smooshing all of your asks together like this, but I didn't want to miss any and I also didn't want to publish five identical posts to my blog.
Thank you all for your kind words, and I'm so glad that me exploring this aspect of my own identity has resonated with so many different people. They weren't always the easiest comics to work on, so
Now I'm having a lot of fun doing fiction again. I completed Circuits and Veins which you can read start to finish for free over on Webtoon Canvas. And I'm working on a new story called Folk Remedy, which I will definitely be sharing a lot more about here as I continue to work on it.

This is what's referred to as a "heritage strip" - an early comic strip from before 1940 and long before the superhero era. This strip was printed weekly in newspapers, and each strip depicts a character having a weird and disturbing dream. The dreams are usually blamed on indigestion.
I struggled with these strips due to the language and art style - they're very much an older style than modern comics, and feel simplistic when compared with more recent releases. However, looking past that to the humor, a lot of the jokes are still funny - some things are universal, and everyone has ridiculous dreams every once in a while.
