Hermit!TommyInnit New Season Thing

I keep seeing the Hermit Tommy AU kicking around, and I love it despite my Dream SMP knowledge being a little patchy, but one idea keeps coming back to me that someone who knows the context of things a little better will hopefully be able to do something with:

For the entire time he’s been with the Hermits (and the entire time Dream SMP has been a thing as well, really), they’ve presumably existed in a single world, the Season 7 world, because I imagine that - with Tommy being as traumatized as he is - suddenly upping sticks and moving would’ve been delayed from whenever they would/will otherwise decide to do it, for his sake. As a result, the S7 world would rival S6 in its age.

So, regardless of whether or not he knew it was coming, how does Tommy react when the Hermits suddenly abandon all of their infrastructure - all that power - to start fresh? How does he handle in that new world?

Last Night I Dreamt...

...that Xisuma abruptly announced plans to suddenly end Season 7 of Hermitcraft and move on to the next season for no apparent reason, and hermits and viewers alike were very, very confused.

It was one of those dreams where it had enough details about both Hermitcraft and my experiences with the HC fandom (one particular fic series, I think) that this afternoon, when I remembered the dream, I genuinely had to check to make sure this wasn’t a thing that was actually happening and that, by all likelihood, the end of Season 7 is, at minimum, probably over a year away.

Dreams be weird, yo. :P
