“I wonder how dominant my pink skin and horn genes are...”
After having safely defend the people of Asgard from Hela as well as getting them all to safety in Thor’s absence, Natasha has since earned herself the title of Goddess of Protection, as well as being a minor war goddess.
Whenever the Einherjar, Shield Maidens, including the War Goddess herself, Sif and even the Warriors Three are facing battle, they will have Natasha touch their weapons and shields to bless them and grant them protection while they fight and of course it goes without saying, even Thor has her bless his weapon as well.
Natasha herself is a little unnerved by it all, but also honored given she is mortal even with all her enhancements that make her as close to immortal as one can get.
Would you write a fic where steve and bucky are friends and one gets the other sick and feels guilty and takes care of them?? I love your writing!
Hey, thanks!
“Rogers,”
“Hmm?” Steve looked up from his crossword puzzle to see Tony standing in the doorway of his room in the tower.
“You’re needed in the bathroom,” Tony said with a straight face.
Steve looked at him suspiciously, this sounded like the setup for a prank of something. “The bathroom?” he asked.
“Yeah. Barnes,” Tony said.
Oh. Well that would’ve been helpful information to give him at the beginning. Steve set down the crossword and stood up. “What’s wrong?” he asked, already fearing the worst. He’d had an episode, or a breakdown, or he was back in hydra mode, or...
“Stomach bug probably,” Tony shrugged, cutting Steve’s thoughts short.
“Oh.” That would explain why he was in the bathroom. Steve felt silly for worrying so much, it was just the flu. Normal people stuff, not weird hero stuff.
“Well, uh, I’ll just let you deal with, you know, the situation,” Tony made a gesture with his hands, motioning towards the bathroom door, cracked open an inch or so.
“Right, yeah, I’ve got it,” Steve nodded, pushing the door open. Tony gave him a pat on the back then headed down the hallway.
“Steve?” Bucky asked.
“Yeah it’s me,” Steve said, moving to sit beside his friend, who was slumped over the toilet seat, head resting on his arm. He was pale and sweaty, his mop of hair all over the place. Honestly he looked a mess.
Bucky coughed, gagging weakly over the bowl as if sitting up was too much effort. He spat a wad of something gross into the toilet then rolled back over to press his eyes against his arm again.
“Jesus Buck, how long have you been in here?” Steve asked, leaning over to pull off a couple squares of toilet paper, which pressed into James’s hand. He shakily wiped his mouth off then dropped it into the toilet.
“Dunno... long time,” he shrugged, “What time izzit?”
“It’s like 9 I think,” Steve answered.
“In the morning? Fuck,” Bucky sighed.
“Aw jeez, come on man we gotta get you to bed,” Steve said, moving to peel him away from the toilet.
“Nooo,” he groaned, shrugging Steve’s hand off, “Still nauseous.”
“You don’t have anything left,” Steve said.
He reached for Bucky again, a hand on his shoulder and the other arm wrapped around his waist. This time Bucky didn’t protest, letting Steve pull him back away from the toilet to rest against the wall behind him. Steve got up and grabbed a cloth from the linen closet, wetting it with some cool water.
“Here, this should help,” he said, draping it over Bucky’s eyes.
Bucky sighed, relaxing a little. He still felt like complete shit, but Steve was right, that did help. It was too bright in there.
“Alright, you think you can walk?” Steve asked, crouching down next to him.
“Yeah maybe,” Bucky answered, bring his knees towards his chest so his feet rested on the ground, “Gonna need some help,” he added.
“I know, I’ve gotcha,” Steve said, looping his arm under Bucky’s good arm. “One, two, three,” he counted down, then hoisted Bucky to his feet, wrapping an arm around his waist to steady him as he swayed.
“Woah,” Bucky mumbled, squinting his eyes shut as the rag fell off.
Steve caught it and placed it over the back of Bucky’s neck so it would stay put while he helped him to bed. Then they slowly began to walk down the hall towards his room. After a few minutes, Steve managed to get him settled in bed, the rag back over his eyes, and a trash can set up beside his bed.
“You need anything else Buck?” he asked, sitting at the edge of his bed.
“No, m’kay Stevie,” Bucky mumbled, already drifting off to sleep.

The prohero continued to look straight at the intern, watching for her reaction. She wasn’t surprised when UA sent her Shih Trist as her new intern. After all, the school was trying to encourage Trist to be less... violent. Aiyanna knew the student outside of the classroom as well, so the internship made sense. But when an old colleague of her’s contacted her and asked her to accept another intern, that sparked her interest. According to the files, Menko was an average UA student with no overpowered quirk. Ostara was curious to see how creative this future prohero was going to be. It made sense for Snipe to send her over to a completely different line of hero work than what she was used to.
Listening closely to what Menko had to say, once the teen was finished speaking, Ostara let out a chuckle. ‘ I simply want to learn how to help people and actually save them for once.’ Was she referring to an incident that wasn’t in her files? Either way, it seemed like the woman was looking across the table at a younger version of herself. Uncrossing her legs, Aiyanna raised herself up from her chair, motioning for Menko to straighten herself up.
“I’m impressed. Not that many students would actually admit that. I like it. You’ll find that just like any other job out there, proheros move around from division to division, much like a nurse will move around from being an ER nurse to being a pediatrics nurse. With all the possibilities out there, it would be foolish of you to decide what line you would want to go into without exploring your other options. Now then, I only have you for a limited time so it is essential that we get started right away. Do you have any questions you want to ask me before you meet your fellow intern as I go over your schedule for your internship?”

She couldn’t breathe. It felt like the world was closing in around her, and there was no escape. This feeling came at a terrible time too, as she was supposed to meet some of her friends for dinner, but right now the thought of leaving her room made her panic even more.
So lost in her own thoughts, Emily jumped at the sudden knock at her door, trying to stay quiet and curl into herself, hoping whoever it was would go away.
