Thinking about old anime & those big shoulder pads on Hero
I sorta been wanting to start my comic back up but realized I forgot the style i had set up so.. some updated stuff and messing around with the Windcaster family.
Started as a sketch and slowly turned into a coloring practice. I’m trying to balance their colors out while still maintaining the original design. Hero is now entirely blue themed (he used to have some brown for shoes and his bag) while Payn is very warm with some teal to offset it, and to match him with Hero.
Hero’s design seems to never change besides color adjustments, but Payn. Payn is always being upgraded. Constantly trying to have him armored up, but not so bulked down that he can’t comfortably tread the country side in it. So basically it ends up with a lot of leather and wool.
I might eventually add some metal/leather pauldrons, I’m trying to keep in mind most of Payn’s enemies aren’t other people in armor they’re giant fleshy monsters..

Been leveling Hero. Nice break from Aidan and sorta allows me to be a bit incognito cause sometimes I feel a lil exhausted from being on Aidan.
Or maybe I just REALLY hate leveling bard. Pretty sure it’s the bard thing. avoids leveling remaining 3 classes to 50 responsibilities
