reason: a few years back in 2015, I was a very popular burgerpants roleplay account with over 5,000+ followers. Back then I needed Steven universe tagged (not anymore though! I overcame that) because of something really bad that happened to me and whenever I saw Steven Universe, I was reminded of it and went into panic attacks. This was when the SU fandom was horrendously toxic as well. And so there was a new Stevenbomb during that time, and I politely as I could, made a post asking people to tag Steven universe because it reminded me of a bad incident.
Cue over 20 people coming to my inbox and messages trying to force me to tell them why I needed it tagged because they wanted the full story. Only a few people actually said "Yeah don't worry I'll tag it for you!" But it was moreso people demanding to know why the show triggered me.
So yeah whatever I'm not triggered by SU anymore and more people today are really good about tagging things. But I feel like this is an issue that needs to be addressed because I really don't think forcing someone to say why Popular Thing triggers them is a good idea.
