oh god thats so tough if the five were back they could resurrect everyone but if theres only one youd prolly need either someone with time travel abilities of reality warping powers like maybe cable or bishop??? tempus has time powers but iirc not time travel specifically or for reality warping maybe legion or proteus

if i have to pick purely for emotional reasons instead of trying to cheat my way out of this nightmare scenario i think my top five in order would be

storm (i just cannot imagine a world without her)

nightcrawler (hes literally so great i love my swashbuckling pirate SO much)

rachel summers (you have to have at least one right??? and shes seen so many extinction level events she deserves better)

blink clarice ferguson (295) (does she count??? shes been in 616 on and off??? plus if nothing else she could create a new team of xmen across the multiverse)

beast (i have a harder time relating to the character these days but he was my favorite xmen as a kid and his storylines were actually well written back in the 80s and 90s when they treated him like an actual 3 dimensional character
