A while back I put in an order with HeroForge.Com and at the time I placed that order there were no warnings on the matter of delays due to massive orders. I ordered mid January and was supposedly estimated to receive my figure by the eighteenth of February. February is almost over and not only is the figurine not here, it’s still “in production”. I love the idea behind HeroForge and I love the idea that we can create custom figurines that reflect what we want. What I don’t love is not knowing when the product will arrive or how long this is going to take. I don’t love that there is zero communication or any attempt of corrective action. I don’t love paying for a product and not receiving it in a timely manner and I don’t love waiting longer than I should have to. This first figurine was a test for me - well for the product and the company - and if I liked it they would have my business indefinitely. I thought - I think - what HeroForge.com has is a good idea in theory, but so far in practice it’s falling short. I’m a nobody and as a nobody I don’t imagine there will be any compensation or corrective action taken for the inconvenience of this matter, but I have to say this: Inconvenience is bad business and I’d like them to keep my. Has anyone else had a negative - or positive - experience with hero forge?
