Personally will never understand the perpetual fancasting of Mackenzie Foy as Arya... She doesn't look like her description and I don't really see her expressions or presentation as matching her — not hate, necessarily, like, if she's Arya to you, go for it, but it's really hard to suspend my disbelief and buy into it even for graphics and gifsets

I'm genuinely so sorry! I did not realize it was you! I thought gendry was an edited JRM, and assumed the other fancasts were edited celebs as well. I do not know you, I saw your post in the valyrianscrolls tag, and you mentioned wanting feedback on your fancasts. I did not realize you used your own pics. I would never have commented on your looks if I knew. I just commented on the fancasts like the post said you wanted? i'm really sorry for misunderstanding, and for hurting your feelings.

You're totally fine, I'm genuinely not hurt lol! Everyone else is an FC, and I totally did ask for feedback, and on top of that, I was specifically looking for feedback on whether I could continue to use myself with convenience, bc frankly I totally project onto Arya and also it'd make my life easier, but I didn't want to say it was me because I didn't want that to affect if people were willing to critique the choice. If the look isn't right, the look isn't right! I was a little thrown by the way you worded it, so I got a bit defensive but either way, I know you weren't targeting me specifically - if anything, I thought you were implying something about Arya but I didn't understand the language so I wasn't sure lol!

Also I just realized how it probably looks and I want you to know that the post about self inserting that's up now was NOT a response to your ask, it's a post specifically about writing indulgent ship fic that I've had in my drafts for like a month now, and I thought it might be better to acknowledge your ask in the tags rather than keep a whole post up for it, since sometimes that can just provide a stage for stan drama and stuff if there is malicious intent. But this is such a nice and sincere follow up, I feel silly for having doubted before, and I'm sorry if I came off rude or accusatory.

TLDR; No worries, you didn't hurt my feelings, I was a just little thrown by the wording because I wasn't totally sure what it meant! I'm sorry if I came off accusatory in the the tags, the post itself is an old draft and not targeted at you, and I hope we both come away feeling totally okay about this encounter, you seem really sweet!
