i've got a decently sized hexbug nano colony being delivered to my house soon, i'll need to carefully introduce them to the current colony and hope they mesh well. though i doubt they'll have many issues since nanos are naturally social and inviting creatures compared to other hexbug species

so um. I've been really fixated on hexbugs recently. and its hard to fixate on something that doesnt have any characters so... (my friends also egged me on to do this so i can blame them too) is this cringe? probably. am i free? mostly. i also have to say that this design was heavily inspired by @mabelcreature 's chibi hexbug designs! so youre legally obligated to go follow them https://www.tumblr.com/mabelcreature/704262709936537600/my-hexbug-designs-3

Here's an example of another orbit bug. also some thoughts on these guys

-they can have different body types, these two just look identical bc, well, im lazy.

-their eyes probably match up with the colors of their markings.

-diff nano types (v2s, nitros, stuff like that) would have diff bodies. i think some of the other bugs could be similarly translated

-my friend and i have given some of my bugs names so... might draw those in the future?
