last week, classes for the fall semester officially started! it's absolutely wild to me that i'm a 2nd year PhD student now... 1st year went by hella quick but it was such a fruitful year. i'm hoping my 2nd year is just as amazing and filled with learning.
this semester, i'm taking
clinical neuro
multiple linear regression (data science course)
biostats and bioinformatics
prodev seminar
the biostats class starts in october bc its a half session, online course so in reality, im only taking 2 real classes at a time.

setting up an EEG system in our lab for my upcoming study
the loft at this amazing coffee spot in PHX
my typed up data checklist and protocol for my EEG study (i don't want to admit how long those took me to write)
i hope you all have a great start to the semester!
calling all students!
Hello everyone! I recently started an internship at a company that sells furniture to businesses and organizations. The team that I am a part of is the Learning Environments team, who designs spaces for K-12 and higher education institutions. Our mission is to make the most out of these spaces, and create learning environments that cultivate curiosity and enable learning while still being welcoming spaces for the diverse student body. As part of my internship, I am working on a project about student experiences in the classroom. If any of you have the time, there is a survey you can take to help me get more information for this project. It takes about ten minutes to complete, and only 1-2 sentence answers are needed. If you do it, reply down below so I can give you a follow! I would also greatly appreciate it if some of you could send the link to your friends or other fellow students; I am trying to get as many responses as possible! Thank you in advance for your help!
The loss of you was my greatest gain

Today I need to finish the introduction of an essay and then look through concepts from the course material for said essay. All the doodles are from my friend, who got sick of watching me waste time on YouTube. Oops.
my notes about prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells! honestly i feel like these notes are kind of sloppy and not very “studyblr worthy” but i decided to post them anyway. also the marker i used was too dark and it ghosted/bled a bit so that was disappointing but i don’t feel like rewriting them lol

wow honestly i’m amazed at how i went for two weeks without uploading despite my resolution to be more active ;; but anyway here’s what i’ve been up to today! finally semi-satisfied with my photo and editing skills bc i took this in natural lighting as soon as i got back from school. so with this new posting situation everything that i upload is going to be from the day before because it’s not possible to post real time if i’m going to be taking pictures in the early afternoon ;w;
aaa enough rambling, here’s what’s pictured: practice questions on vectors (including some mistakes and corrections i made), bio notes from the beginning of our unit on reproduction, and prose analysis from english!
also i made a studygram with a few friends so it would be nice if you all could visit over there! ig: studybitches

spring break came and went in the blink of an eye, but it was lots of fun! met up with friends from HS, went to disneyland, and spent time with my family. I also still did some work over break that was time sensitive, but I can't really complain :)
its officially past the halfway point of the semester and i can see the finish line. ahhhh. i also realize i need to start studying more for my classes because things are getting more complex... BUT WE WILL SURVIVE
