As usual, Ciel's day consisted of paperwork and lessons, but right now his time was being occupied by the former. A new shipment of toys was going to Germany and Ciel needed to verify that everything was in order before he signed off on it. The rustling of the papers and the scratching of his quill pen were the only sounds audible in the otherwise quiet study.
He looked up at the knock upon the door, his butler informing him that he had a visitor. He hadn't been expecting anyone today, so of course Ciel was mildly irritated he had to entertain someone apparently, and if it was his fiancee then she would've been through the door and around his neck by now. And as soon as she saw the head of blonde hair and the trademark purple coat, automatically Ciel's face slid further into a frown.
Alois, why exactly are you here? Was a call ahead too much to ask of you?
