Juju, there's something that's been nagging my mind ever since I saw the Buck & Tommy scene. Right after Buck tells him it was exhausting getting Tommy's attention, Tommy's like "MY attention?" and looks to the side. Like even he was surprised it was his and not Eddie's attention. I really think there's something more here & I can't wait for the next episode!
I’ve been ruminating on how to answer this for a few weeks now. And I honestly feel like it was definitely some sort of foreshadowing. I know he’s here as a plot device and for this specific storyline. We know he’s not gonna be around for much longer. And if we were to assume Tommy is a smart man who’s aware of his surroundings and has a read on people, then it’s safe to assume he’s going to figure shit out soon. Meaning when he sees more of Buck and Eddie being BuckandEddie. Like I’m fully under the impression he’s got to know at least to some extent, that Buck’s jealousy and him wanting to get someone’s attention wasn’t fully about him. And him voicing it, seems like a foreshadowing that he will voice other things to Buck at a later time. Such as possibly bringing up the Eddie factor and maybe turning his direction to the Eddie of it all. I’m not being as coherent as I wanna be but I’m hopeful that he will make a comment that gets Buck to stop and really think things through. And have a certain realisation that he hasn’t yet allowed himself to fully have.
