okay. i just caught up with hello from the hallowoods (episode 170 spoilers ahead!!!) and i have a theory: nikignik and marolmar planned all of this. they wanted nikignik to infiltrate the council so that he can take revenge/change things from the inside. there are parts of their conversation that were corrupted, and i think that it was them hatching this plan. i still have hope in our narrator. they haven’t failed us yet.

This podcast has made me feel many emotions over the last four seasons. But I don't think I have ever felt so much rage as I have for the first 15 minutes of this episode

I keep thinking about this part of the conversation.

At first I was sure that Marolmar asked Nikignik to destroy the Council of Heavens from the inside out, but why would Nikignik never be able to forgive themselves for that? The Council tried to kill Marolmar and treated Nikignik like shit for millennia - even if they wouldn't enjoy it, I think at least a little part of them wants revenge for that. And would manipulating the Council even help to create "a better universe" for others like Nikignik and Marolmar?

I'm so excited for S5 and I can't wait to find out what's actually going on.
