Ok, maybe it wasn’t a good idea to have eaten a full meal planned for two, but Lu Han is desperately looking for more views and everyone had been requesting for his take on a specific new plate from a specific new restaurant. Now that it’s done, he can only hope his little stroll around the neighbourhood will help him digest a little better, because he’s too full to even stomach some tea or medicine.
The night is chillier than expected, although that’s not unwelcome - it helps him cope with the feel of exploding from the inside. His scarf is unwrapped because it suffocates him, nose turning red with each passing minute. The streets get emptier the closer he gets to the little park that has two broken lamp posts, it’s darker and not many people are willing to go through it. Lu Han is about to turn around too, an uneasy feeling running on his veins at the prospect of walking there alone, but then he sees someone lying on the floor near the monkey bars.
At first, he thinks it’s a drunk guy sleeping the alcohol off, but he’s always been one to follow his intuition, and at the moment, it’s telling him to check it out. “Hey.” He mumbles once he’s close enough to the other. It might be the darkness surrounding them, but Lu Han thinks the guy has a dazed look on his face. “You okay?”
