Which designs for silver and ethan do you prefer, hgss or gsc?

(And do you like Lyra's design or Kris' better? I'm a Kris fan myself)

I’d say hgss but not by much. I love Ethan’s big stupid gsc hoodie and despite drawing him over and over and over for a very long time I’m still not sure how much I like Silver’s hgss hair. It’s the only sprite of his I bothered to reference and I’m starting to wish I got a slightly more realistic style in my muscle memory. But I like to use both styles in tandem; I tend to use their gsc outfits when I’m drawing them as younger kids (10-12 y.o.), and their hgss outfits for them as teenagers.

Purely by design, I like Kris better. But I’m overall more fond of Lyra because Heartgold was my first Pokemon game, and I didn’t read the manga until ten years later. (And they coexist to me forever I won’t have any Lyra/Kris erasure in my pokemon universe)

He's cute, and I wouldn't consider him a bad character - but for being Giovanni's son, he's rather easy to defeat, and his story of "Get stronger, beat Gold" leaves me desiring more. I'm indifferent to him. He could be more interesting.
