Since Cecilia, Kassidy, and Orson share the same basic cell structure, they share a mental connection of sorts. Though it's not strong enough to communicate telepathically with one another, they can, however, read each other's muscle movements as soon as they make them
E and Elaine are able to communicate mentally after fusing a couple times. Their soul is trying to balance out so their personalities/emotions change a little every time they form D.E. Before this, however, they both just had to go off of gut feelings on what the other was thinking.
