I like to imagine that, since all the nations are super old and age slowly, Swe and Finn have know each other for quite some time, and even though they have had countless disagreements, vile kings, gruesome wars, decades spent apart, the modern life and the gift of democracy ruling over their lands now can finally allow them to come together in more ways than just as Nations, but as regular humans too.
