I totally understand how it feels when you want your hair to come out a specific way and it doesn't.

But also why is it expected for the kinky-coily hair team to do sleek buns and ponytails that have no waves??? Like??

Gonna end up with tension headaches and your hair giving up from that constant pulling to get a "straight" look every time. Using up 6 buckets of gel. It's such a weird expectation. Maybe looser curls can do that but that's not to be expected for everyone with their natural state.

How dudes can build their waves but if my puff or bun has waves that's not desirable? 🤨

If someone wants to do a sleek bun, blowout or straighten their hair to get the style, use wigs, etc, that's all great. And they're so cute. But ppl need to leave the kinky-chilly coily patterns alone about having waves.
