I got my hair cut today, and then the hairdresser straightened it, which to me looks very unfamiliar. But I kinda like it. Also my brother got me some ice, how nice is that. :)

‘When I arrived at school, I was immediately looking out for my best friend Eugenia. I hadn’t seen her during the holidays and we had a lot of catching up to do. I found her sitting on a bench outside, her brown hair which had grown even longer since I last saw her was falling over her shoulders and veiling her face as she was reading a book, as per usual. Although her warm brown eyes were always sparkling with humour and she was very kind, people thought she was very shy and quiet. But I knew better. She was the one who understood all my crazy obsessions and she shared my passion for wolrds that were not our own. I smiled, remembering how often we had spent hours talking about books and movies, wishing that their characters would just come to life. I walked over and looked over her shoulder. “Oh my god, is that the book thief?” I exclaimed. Eugenia startled and whipped her head around. “Jesus, Hanna, stop sneaking up on me! I nearly had a heart attack!” She laughed and hugged me. “Yeah, it is. But don’t you dare and tell me anything about it, I don’t know what’s going to happen yet!” I giggled and pretended to lock my mouth with an invisible key. “No worries. But let me tell you one thing, you’re gonna cry your eyes out. And now, on to more important things: Have you seen the season finale of Doctor Who? I can’t believe they really did it!” Her eyes widened and she took in a deep breath, preparing her rant about the latest events. “I know right! There I was, thinking that,...” And off we went, talking on all through the first two lessons, not even caring that everybody thought we were complete weirdos.’
