Ryan Brett was a 3rd Round pick of the Rays, out of Highline High School in Washington State. He was a hard nosed player who generally played above his tools. HIs biggest asset were speed and defense.
Since being drafted he was ranked the Rays #23 prospect in 2010, #14 in 2011 and #22 in 2013.
