Cheap Tricks and One Liners | Newt, Hermann and Tony

Hermann didn't know what all the fuss was about. It was only one person coming over to the Shatterdome...why so many preparations had to be made was beyond him.

He was sitting at the Mess Hall, finishing up a cup of tea as he overheard some Jaeger pilots gossiping...but then again, when didn't they gossip?

"Do you think he'll fund the Jaeger program?"

"Dude! He's like...super awesome!"

"I hear he's an ass..."

"Ass or not, he's a hero and he has money...gotta look sharp man..."

Hermann couldn't help but roll his eyes. Of course he knew enough about Tony Stark...you had to be living under a rock not to know who he was. The billionaire playboy who prances around saving the world as Iron Man...of course Hermann knew how big he was...but why the sudden interest in their program? What could Mr. Stark want with them? He already had Stark Industries and he would assume that his work with the Avengers and SHIELD would keep him occupied.

Nonetheless, Hermann got up from the Mess Hall and decided to head on back to the K-Science lab. He knew he was going to be overhearing the constant excitement over Mr, Stark's arrival all day, but he'd rather deal with one annoying pain than several.

As he arrived to the lab, he grumbled under his breath, allowing his cane to clank harshly against the ground, more than usual.

"Everyone is acting so ridiculous over this," he growled out loud, half to himself and half to Newt. "Every bloody person in the Shatterdome is all up in arms about this new arrival. If you ask me, it's all nonsense. I highly doubt anything will come out of this visit...and yet everyone is here, thinking that he will fund the Jaeger program. Hmmph. Wishful thinking if you ask me."
