I came up with the term ‘Bell Harmonics’ for my two handed harmonic technique after writing the song ‘Pepperleaf Pipes’. Originally the piece was going to be called ‘Pepperbell Pipes’ and so I was going to name my technique ‘Pepperbell Harmonics’ but decided to shorten it to simply ‘Bell Harmonics’. I had been developing this technique and my love for harmonics since a child but it was Guitar World featuring me twice for this technique and then my song ‘Bell’s Harmonic’ which started to bring notoriety.
