High School Sentiments
I graduated from high school last week. I still can’t believe it’s all over; I remember walking through the halls as a freshman and not knowing where the nearest bathroom was located. Just last month, I couldn’t wait until graduation because that would mean that all the pressure would go away. I was anxious about what to wear to senior brunch, nervous about my AP scores, and emotional over my second semester grades. I wanted it all to be over.
In the same week, I turned 18 and graduated; now i’m looking back at how many milestones I’ve accomplished in just a week. I didn’t realized how much i changed until I was walking to my graduation seat. I sat in the first row because of my class rank and I couldn’t help but cry as all of my classmates walked past me. I am not usually sentimental but it got me because I had always rushed things without enjoying the moment. Now that it’s all gone I feel like I have nothing left but my diploma.
Well this will be my last post with the tag: highschooledna. I will be switching over to collegeedna now.
