Lol, well I guess I’ll have to see what’ll happen with him. He seems much quieter so far than Roget at any rate. I dunno if he can top trying to suck an entire city into a limbo dimension out of petty revenge though. That’s a hard one to beat. ^^;;

Honestly, I think some of it has to do with Johan. Johan & Yubel are, at the core, very similar. Devoted to Juudai no matter what, both sacrificing themselves for him without a thought. They even look alike when Yubel was human. So they built up everything between Juudai & Johan & then we have Yubel. "They're so much alike, it's the same thing, right?" No. It isn't. There should have been more. Reading between the lines & hints are fine. But so many of us wanted more.  I want a season 4 where Yubel & Johan talk to each other.   Where Ryou interacts with Edo, Asuka, Fubuki, & Yuusuke.   Where Edo & Saiou talk.  Where Yubel & Juudai talk on screen instead of implied!  More Asuka! Jim!   & if canon won't provide,  I'll do it myself.   Frequently.   But I wish I didn't have to.                    

Hmmm, well that’s an interesting theory. I agree that human Yubel at least does seem kind of similar to Johan’s personality in some ways, from the little we saw of them anyway. And of course there was the whole possession thing so maybe there’s something to it that they thought Johan’s development could be a stand in for Yubel’s.

Yeah, I don’t think it’s necessary for a show to have to always explain every detail to the audience but it feels like GX often left a bit too much up to reading between the lines instead of expanding on things in canon that they really should have. I definitely would have wanted to see all those things for season 4 as well! It especially at least would have been interesting to see what Johan’s reaction to seeing Yubel again would have been and if they would apologize for using him like that. It’s definitely great that some of those blanks can be filled in by fanfiction too, but having it in canon would be even nicer. :\

Heh, yeah I guess that is a better way of looking at it. They can all begin a new set of adventures as the set out in life now.

Yeah, he really should have been! It wouldn’t have been hard to show him at the party or somewhere in the crowd either, especially since he’s already staying at the school anyway. :(

Lol, yeah they definitely had very different reactions to that. At least Ryou’s was a bit healthier, sort of. ^^;;;

Heh, it certainly does make me wonder what their interactions would be like. If the season had been longer, maybe we could have seen Ryou remember him too and try to help Fubuki bring him back or something. Or at least try to talk some sense into him.
