Hi friends! Remember the upcoming Havensdale timeline previously posted? Well, we’ve decided to move things onwards and upwards for us. We’re going to do the first 3 year time jump for our characters, now.
So, it’s time to get planning and plotting for what’s happened to your characters for the new era (the doomsday era, if you will)! Once everybody’s ready to roll, we’ll be open for interactions in this new phase of the RP!
There’ll be lots of helpful points below for you to use for plot points and we ask that you make a post of ‘Where Are They Now’ with all the important information we need to know.
For example, you can post their stats/general info (name, age (18+), pronouns, species, occupation, fc). Post about what happened to them at each major event before the time jump (their general life during the jump) and then post what they’re doing now.
Welcome to Domesdale (under the dome, geddit?). Well--- the bad guys have won. At least in Havensdale and they’re plotting for their full siege on the rest of the world. After the series of spells had been completed, Engel had unlocked the power that they’d originally put into the roots of Havensdale back when it was founded. With that power, he sealed the perimeter of the town ensuring that no one could enter or exit without his approval.
Along with this, the protection that the First Witches had put in place were broken (in Havensdale only, for now). Vampires were no longer affected by blessed waters or wooden stakes. Werewolves no longer hurt by wolfsbane or killed by silver.
After the carnage of the Founder’s Festival, surviving citizens were told they were free to live their lives as normal. Well, mostly normal. They couldn’t leave, of course. They weren’t allowed out after curfew unless they wanted to be a free meal. And really, they weren’t safe to wander without the threat of someone’s fangs or claws.
Our good guys? The ‘most wanted’ were forced into hiding, protected by whatever old magic was left. Some are left on the surface, trying to bring around some revolt, some revolution. Communications are kept top secret and counter attacks are being planned. However, not fast enough.
While our heroes try to keep hope alive, our villains are getting ready to launch their attacks and hold on the rest of the world.
On Founder’s Day, around the globe, there were attacks while many other supernaturals headed to Havensdale to join the fight. Eventually, the Institute fell, globally. All contact went dark. From a distance, this may look like the Havensdale Valley you remember but it is far from it.
So, here’s how it all went down:
The day after prom, there was a Rumour (in St. Petersburg). The rain had cleared at last but what were all the whispers about? Someone had something... There were police? Was someone hurt? Was someone...? Someone was. Effy and Leo McCoy were found dead from a supposed car accident. The truth was, Juliette Palmer murdered them both in revenge for what they did to her mom and the Sheriff and Deputy (werewolf and witch) covered it up.
Next, graduation. Leo McCoy at last graduated in absentia and the town was left to mourn and heal. There were new beginnings on the horizon. Summer had begun and everything was going to get better.
What’s the first big event of summer in Havensdale? The Founder’s Festival. There’s history tours, carnivals stalls, games and prizes. The Miss Havensdale pageant was alive and well. Everyone was having fun. Everyone was distracted. And then it happened --- a man that most recognised (Frederick something?) took to the podium and the music stopped playing. He gave a speech explaining what was about to happen, that they were about to step out of the shadows. That unfortunately, today, there would blood.
The Founder’s Festival saw turnings, killings, our heroes driven underground. Lasting scars. People lost their houses, some tried and failed to leave. It was supposed to be the big battle the hunters and allies who had come to Havensdale to fight would win. They did not.
Fast forward 3 years down the line and it’s a very different Havensdale. It wasn’t an immediate global victory because of that damn First Tree that the First Witches powered their magic into. It allowed Havensdale to be trapped but whatever magic was left, shrouded the tree. It moved, it recharged, it healed. Engel hunted for it. The longer that passed, the less ‘normal’ Havensdale became. The more places were destroyed, the more attacks. This is a very different Havensdale and we’re running out of time.
OOC Information on Havensdale Under The Dome:
Havensdale is magically sealed off now - those who are in Havensdale cannot leave it unless they are permitted by one of the Big Bads (most likely Engel).
On Founder’s Day, Engel completed the Big Bad Spell that all the other little spells had been working up to (especially the humanity spell after the AU that allowed him to collect the blood of all Originals). This spell sealed Havensdale, broke the protections that allowed werewolves and vampires to be killable. It also took the cap off his own powers while he is inside Havensdale - before, the Balance/Nature/Willow and Arianna had kept him from going too far. Havensdale is under Engel’s thumb, truly.
The spell also gifted all psychics with their powers.
The Big Bads took over the Montgomery Manor as their base of operations (bye bye Montgomerys).
Many regular citizens ended up grouping together for safety.
Allies and Most Wanteds (ie. The McReid hunters) were forced to hide underground in a magically sealed bunker under the forest in Havensdale. This was created long ago by Willow Evermore and was more recently sealed by McReid blood (Lila’s, at the time) to be opened in times of grave need.
Code Black: The Institute - globally - has fallen. Some agents managed to make it to Havensdale to help, others are still trying. The word is the Big Boss there died. All supernatural prisoners held in the Main HQs globally, escaped.
Day to day life seems okay. Mostly. People can go to work- if it’s still there. Some people bargained to help the Big Bads. Some people were turned. Some people are working with the underground Resistance. There is a curfew - anyone out after dark is fair game for a hungry vampire. With each passing day, the Big Bads get ready to launch their takeover of the world (mwhaha!).
Any threads you want to do at any of the big events before the time jump (now or later), you absolutely can do. Consider this time we’re in now a Flashback Era. Any drabbles/paras etc. you need to write, please do. Although you can do these at any point once we’re ready to go in the new time too!
Get ready to post your ‘Where Are They Now’ info - this can be in whatever style you like.

Stats (name/age/pronouns/occupation/species) - note: we will post updated age groups for everyone’s knowledge as best we can, let us know if you have any questions!
What side are they on (Good/Bad/Neutral)
What happened to them during the previous major events (we will also post some more ‘major events’ over the years ie. attempted attacks/scraps between the underground revolt and baddies)
What are they doing now (are they in the resistance? Are they living above or underground- sneaking out of course encouraged. Are they on a hit list? Are they just living day by day?)
Note any relationship or major plot points for them
Any wanted plots you want now
Was your character turned or injured etc.
If your character died in any of these major events (or during any scrapes in the time jump) - they can absolutely be brought back now after this time jump!
There will also be a big plot/opportunity for character death (or re-death) and resurrection in the future (Big Battle / Big 5 Year Time Jump plots after).
