“Hey pal, you looking for something special? It has to be special if you’re hanging around the dumpster.”
♚ I’m Not Even
[ ✥ ]—— Kivat is tired. It’s been a couple hours since he got lost in the shifting maze of Sector One and couldn’t find his favourite shop where cute girls usually went to. Plus, he also lost sight of Wataru in all his excitement. Realizing too late of the mistake he made by not waiting for his companion, the little bat is now gliding poorly across the streets, desperately looking for a way out. After being almost hit by a car, he decides to land on the first thing he sees and take a nap.
Now... that’s a weird tree. Vision blurred from weakness, Kivat becomes pervaded by an urge to get his fangs on whatever interesting appendage has sprouted before him. He takes a bite, pulling harshly and noting that it’s not easy to rip it off the tree. Not even when said tree starts squirming, trying to wave its braches at him, does he let go of the grip. What a monstrous, stubborn plant.
Wataru nearly drops the bag he’s holding as soon as he finds Kivat, after getting separated from him and searching through half of the sector. Bizzarre isn’t even describing the scene before him. He’d known Kivat since he was a toddler, but never in his life he saw his belt friend consciously attacking a person by pulling their hair. Whatever is possessing him to do something like this?
“Kivat?! What are you doing?” He shouts their direction as he quickly reduces the distance. Deaf and hungry, Kivat keeps pulling the man’s hair and attempting to at least have a chunk eaten up.
